Cancellation Policy
When you make an appointment Granite Belt Dental, that time is reserved exclusively for you. Our front desk staff will aim to place a courtesy reminder call or SMS to you prior to your appointment. Please bear in mind that if you do not receive your reminder call, your appointment remains your responsibility to attend or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments
Granite Belt Dental aims to provide patients with appointments to meet their treatment needs. It is requested patients make an agreed appointment time and date to assist the scheduling process, notifying the practice where this appointment cannot be met.
To assist you in providing us with this information we contact patients by:
- Recall system
- Telephone call reminder
- SMS reminder
- Email reminder
- Postal Reminder
In the event we are unable to accommodate a patient’s request for an appointment at a specific time/date, consultation with the treating dental practitioner will be sought.
- Patients who present with dental emergencies that require immediate attention (such as facial swelling) are accommodated with same day appointments.
- Patient who fail to attend, or cancel appointments, are kept in a log, and contacted via phone call to reschedule the appointment.
